Default Pics of front O2 wiring on AWM?

Call me blind, but I'm trying to see where the O2 sensor connects to the harness. It looks like it goes under the coolant tank, but I don't want to take that out if I don't have to.

The car broke down on me in Philly, 280 miles from home, and when I got it towed home, I had a PLETHORA of codes to choose from. Misfires on 1,3,4, multiple misfires, lean bank one and O2 position 1. I figured that at 125k, I'd do the O2 sensor first and see what else that clears up.

Coil packs were done as a recall item last spring, FYI.

If the car isn't running now, it isn't the O2.

Got any fuel in the tank? Fuel pump working?

Start with the basics.


If the car is running. Clear codes and drive it. See what comes back.

Full tank, car runs, misfires, stalls, started losing power on the NJ turnpike, but I coaxed it another 15 miles before it just wouldn't run. I'm past the basics at this point, I just need to get the new O2 plugged in to see what codes that eliminates.

No1, find code from your ECM regardless of present code(s) or none.
You have to see the code which one is causing
N0.2 find Basic or hiding problem ( mechanically, Fuel or ECM relate?) why your car give you a problem(s).
Then, you can fix problem.
Most of time, problem is coming from only 1 place ! ! But, rarely 2 place. x19

Found the plug, now the car won't start at all. Every 15-20th try, it runs for about 5 seconds then stalls. I cleared the codes and got a new one, p0321.

Ignition Engine Speed Input Circuit Range/Performance
P0321 AUDI Description
Ignition failure sensor is used to check whether the spark ignition is occurred correctly or not and also used to tachometer drive. The sensor monitors the voltage difference between a resistance which is on the battery circuit for ignition coil. When the ignition coil works properly, the electric current through the resistance is detected as voltage drop. This is confirmed for every ignition event with the crankshaft sensor and the camshaft sensor. If ECM detects a malfunction, no ignition is possible, so the engine would not start. If there is no ignition signal for a predetermined cycle for one or two ignition coils, an ignition coil circuit failure exists.
Symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of Power
- The engine may be harder to start
- The engine may stumble or stall
Possible causes
- Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor harness circuit is open or shorted
- Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor poor electrical connection
- Faulty Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor
- Faulty Crankshaft Position sensor
- Low battery charge
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
When is the code detected?
The P0321 code is triggered when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the signal is out of range.

I have a service light, it was stumbling and stalling and lacked power right up to the point where I decided to get it towed home 280 miles. It started in my driveway, then I got 8 codes for misfires, bank one lean, O2 sensor. Now that I replaced the O2 sensor, (125K on the car) it won't start at all.

Anyone want this POS?? I hate this car...
