Default Please Help!!!
Guys, My friend has a '00 A41.8tq with the Bose system. He recently acquired an LCD display and has installed that in his car so they can watch movies or whatever (for show). However, the stereo people cannot figure out how to get the sound thru. According to them, the Bose system blocks the FM modulator (is this true!?) and they can't figure out another way other than through the CD changer. Anybody know of another way, or the exact pins on the adapter that are the input pins. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!

Default There's a excel spreadsheet. lurking in the archives with the
pinout of the bose/nonbose headunit. I usedto have it, but can't find it right now....

headunit schematics? or what?

Default Yea, I tried headunit and headunit schematic and all I come up w/ is a wiring
schematic for the gauge cluster and a tutorial on how to put better speakers into the car.........

Default The problem is that the add-on FM modulator blocks the 12V DC bias on the Antenna cables, to power..
the antenna amplifiers. Add a DC antenna feed adapter between the FM modulator and the antenna amps.
