Default poor guy...
this guy got rear ended by a Neon sunday at H2O. friggin neon didn't slow down or anything, just straight smacked into this dude and kept rolling. rear end is completely smashed, rear door pushed forward, roof buckled, and a slurpy was spilled all over the interior.
this'd suck.

the owner is the little dude in the green shirt. sorry bro.

Default Is it just me or is there a lot of body damage above the rear wheel considering
the low amount of damage to the rear bumper and trunk lid? Or is the angle of the pic hiding most of the damage?

Default It was pretty much a direct hit to the rear bumper.
The bumper came in pretty squarely, bottomed out the impact absorbers, and the rest of the energy was distributed into the floor of the trunk and the quarter panels (likely the rear subframe as well).

If the hit was a little higher (if an SUV nailed it), you would have seen the type of damage you were expecting.

That car is done.
