Well, isn't the RS4 an Avant body with EXTREME mods? So wouldn't it fit? just guessing...

check out road and track 2/2000

oettinger did an engine swap and crammed the 4.2 liter v-8 into an a4 avant. apparently they had to extend the engine bay some

Yup! They extended the engine bay by 2 inches
