Is it possible to chrome the original factory rims?

Does anyone know whether or not it is possible to chrome the original factory rims?
I currently have the 17in. sport factory rims, but I was told that there were some places that I could send my rims into and they will dip them into chrome and make them look like actual chrome rims. This is for an Audi A4.

If so, where could I send them to?

Didn't someone here have a dealer curb one of his A8 wheels and they sent them all off to be

refinished - and they came back chrome? I think he ended up keeping them that way.

I hate

chrome rims. It's your car though. They have to dip them in a certain solution to condition the metal, then into another to magnetize the metal, then into the chrome, so like Stratocaster said, it's expensive. If you have 17's from the sport pack, I think you have a B6, so try here.
