Potential Problem

Seems that whenever I just cruise at around 4k rpm in 4th or 5th gear, there is a sound. Somewhat of a whirling sound that goes in intervals of about 2-3 seconds. Doesn't sound nasty or like anything is breaking, just somewhat annoying. Could there be something wrong? I'm pulling this out of my ***, but I was thinking it has to do something with air. Since it only happens at higher speeds. Seems as if the sound comes from all over. Can't tell if it is coming from under, engine bay, etc... Maybe it's a new type of surround sound problem. hehe. Comments...

Check out the possibility of it being the driver side/side view mirror, I've heard these can whistle

I'll check it out. But the sound isn't like a whistle. More of like a humming.
