Potential Slip Ring Problem..
Hey all,
My airbag light came on recently, and my A4 was due for some work, so I took it in. Intially they cleared the fault, and then couldn't replicate it. On pick-up, they told me it was potentially the slip-ring (I think) and if the problem came back they'd look into it. As they got my car for me, the light came back on.
My question, before I take it back in, is has anyone had success in getting rid of the airbag light by replacing the slip ring?
I did a search, and there is plenty of discussion over it potentially fixing the problem, and was wondering if it actually worked for anyone?
