problem with AC...
the following usually occurs when it is pretty warm out (80F+), although it's happened when it's been cooler...when i first start car and turn on AC, it doesn't really get cold...i hear the compressor kick on, but not too cold. when i start driving at speed, i feel the engine *drag/lag/load/etc* and then it gets cold. but then, sometimes when i'm at a stoplight for maybe a minute or so, the air will get warm again, and my inside/outside air button will turn off on its own, and the air coming out smells kind of sour. but when i start driving again, it will get cold. sounds like i need a recharge? maybe a loose belt or something?

I'm having very similar issues with mine. The compressor kicks off and on, on its own. The air will be blowing warmish one minute and then get slightly cool for a little bit. I've also heard my belt squealing, so I have a feeling it's slipping and that might be (some) of the problem. Being 6 years old, it probably needs a recharge as well. If I figure out exactly what the problem is I'll let you know.....or if you find out let me know. :-) Good luck
