Seat Rocking/Control arms
The control arms are known problem. Had both of mine replaced already- no arguement with dealer on this, but yes, is bad design. (and they will continue to break at regular intervals)<p>Seat Rocking. Had to escalate this to the AoA rep (she sat in my car). Problem traced to broken seat mounts. The service manager had also said it was within spec.<p>Yes, I too am dissapointed, but is it the reliability or the service that is your beef. <p>Reliability: So far as good as the Honda's and Chryslers and Nissans I have owned. I just quibble about stuff that I would ignore in the other cars.<p>Service: I think it sucks, but talking around, this is very dealer dependant, and may not be any better with another brand.<p>1996 a4 2.8 qm

one point on the turbo
Most people buy a car, not a collection of components.<p>I find it unacceptable to minimize the impact of the turbo, weather built by Audi or anyone else. It is their responsibility to source reliable, quality parts, be it the turbo, glass, or the leather. They are selling the car.<p>1996 a4 2.8 qm
