Problem with lights
I drove for 12 hours straight (just stoping for gas) and the last time i put on my blinkers my headlights turned off, i turned off my blinker and the headlights went back on. i stopped for 2 hours then drove 12 more, when i got to my destination i tried my head light and they didn't work. I checked the fuse and it's fine, then i went to autozone and he told me to try the headlights, so i changed the drivers side and even though the bulb looked fine the lights (both) turned on with a new bulb in the drivers side. then later that day i tried them again no more headlights! I can't figure out what's causing the problem any sugestions?

Just replaced my combo switch (97 TQM) last week. The only difference I had versus the write-up in the FAQ was that I had 24mm nut instead of a T-50 holding the steering wheel on. You might be in the same boat with a '96. Follow the write-up as it's completely straight forward.

hey thanks with the help everyone... yeah i started tearing it all apart, when i realized i needed a bigger socket... bought a 22 and a 23... so close but yeah, once i got a 24 it worked thanks a lot guys !!!
