Problems after n75 replacement.......

I decided to try out a J n75 valve in my car after someone reccomended it. I installed it, I figured out later I had it in backwards...so the car would boost high with out a lot of throttle. Anyways, full throttle, the car ran awesome, but after while I developed a rapid misfire. So today I switched back to the stock valve, still getting the misfire, VAG is coming up with "low terminal voltage-30". I had a similar problem before and the battery cables were loose, so now I have no idea what is going on...any ideas?

Blodi, I'm having the same problem. You go for wide open throttle and it overboosts, splutters and gives a sporadic misfire code and the low voltage -30 one too. I've been trying to find out what's going on from various people, including APR (I'm just running a stage 1 on a 2000 1.8TQMS) and everybody keeps saying it's a vacuum leak. I just replaced the n75 and associated plumbing. I've replaced all the braided vacuum hoses with a silicone variety and installed a forge diverter valve - still getting the same problem. It doesn't happen in stock mode, just chipped mode but seeing as I've been running the chip for about 15000 miles without problems I figure it's a hardware problem. Let me know if you discover anything (stocknicholas@hotmail.com). I'm replacing the boost hoses next week, so I'll let you know if that helps, but tracing down a vacuum leak could take some time...
