Progress on the latest project

Things are going slow so far, spent wayy to much time last night trying to figure out the angles for the collector. Then made a jig which worked great and finally got my piping cut, not before running out. Mcmaster just delivered more piping and progress will continue tonight!

Thats some heavy tube for a collector, why so thick - didnt you have a burns piece to copy?

That is the finest merge collector made - why re-invent their engineering. I know guys who eld headers, and they buy the burns, so I am curious??

Because money is an issue for some people :p Why not build your own if the tools are there?

I know a bunch of people who have built these, and the whole manifold is going to be 304/ 304l sch 40 which seems to be the standard if you look around at successful turbo manifold projects. A header for a muscle car is going to be completly different
