protection package removal?

protection package removal?
my 99.5 a4 1.8t came with the protection package (dealer forgot to take off) it has the rubber stripping on the door edges and a thicker strip on the frt and rear bumpers. I want to take these off as it destroys the lines of the car. Any suggestions??

This assumes your rub strips are of simmilar construction.
