Question
After you drive in deep snow, does your car shake insanely at speeds over 40? My car is outrageous, it feels terrible as though the whole car is going to fall apart.

Re: no...if it is shaking, it's in the wheels. You might not see it stuck behind the spokes...
It can melt, then re-freeze, then cause the wheel(s) to be out of balance. This happens to me all the time in the winter. The last time I couldn't see the ice either...I sure could feel it though.
Could also be a bent wheel, but it happened after you drove in the snow, so I doubt it.
Best advice if cleaning them doesn't work would be to put a space heater beside a wheel for awhile to melt the ice. That's what I had to do...
