Default Question ...
So I take of after the light turns green and see a ricey neon trying to pass me from behind. At around 10 mph, I hit the gas and there was like a 2 sec lag before the car took off. I didn't let him pass me but I was very dissapointed with that lag. Is that normal or is it time I get a chip? BTW I have a 2001 2.8Q Tip and I wasn't on tiptronic when this happened.

Default turbo cars have "turbo lag" ...go figure
it happens. get a chip and exhaust. the tip hurts you

A 2.8 doesnt have turbo lag, n00b.

he's a 2.8; no turbo means no turbo lag

Default i didn't mean a turbo lag, i meant the car didn't respond quick enough when i hit the gas ...
what i was wondering is if a chip would decrease that
