Default Question???????????????

I just got a job at Whooton VW and am now selling Volkswagens. It is cool and I'm having a lot of fun. I have a question however. I took out a Passat v6 4motion and really dont know Y anyone could by an A4 instead of this car. The price fully loaded is such a better value. I really dont know Y anyone would rather have an Audi. I am just soo confused. My customers will probably ask me Y this car is better and as of right now I just dont know what to say???? Help 911!!!!!!!!1

Default I have an A4 and a Passat...

The A4 is much sportier. It handles better with a tighter suspension. I'd also say the fit and finish is better with far less rattles and squeaks.

If a customer is looking at a Camry or Accord I'd say go for the Passat definitely. If the customer is shopping BMW or Mercedes, go for the Audi.

I'd say a 4 motion Passat is in the same league as a Volvo S70 or Saab 9-3. All nice cars, just different.

Default How about these 2 reasons that pop into my head immediately:

1) 5-speed manual transmission -- not available on the 4-Motion Passat. No manual transmission, no sale.

2) 1.8T engine -- 4-Motion Passat is not available with the tuner's engine of choice...the fabulous 1.8T engine. No turbo, no sale.

I could go on with additional reasons, but those two are deal-breakers as far as I'm concerned. Good luck with your new job.

Default Just for beginners......1.8T......manual......now tell me your AWD Passat has that?!?

Check and you'll see that most people here have 1.8TQM's. Passat doesn't offer that. Also ditto RichMN's comments.

Default You need to change your name to MexicanKarKid... I guess you've never BEEN in an A4

The price difference is very proportional to the difference in luxury. The Passat is just a big jetta with a premium engine and wood trim. I'm not saying it's anything but a great car but it's nowhere near to touching the fit and finish of the A4.
