I recently installed euro 2 piece projectors on my 98.5 a4. I aligned it according to one of the sites by placing a mark on a wall for each headlight and reversing 10 feet back and aligning to the markings. My lighting has increased dramatically over the oem housings that I had. However, it seems as though the left headlight is brighter than the right when reflected on cars in front of me. The left headlight seems to be brighter because the step pattern of the euro projectors seem to step up onto the middle of the car directly in front of me, while the passenger headlight's step up pattern shines away to the right of the car. I'm not sure exactly if you can understand that. Basically the step pattern on the drivers side light is reflecting on the car in front of me while the passenger is not. It kind of bothers me because the people I follow seem to see two different colors in my headlights even though they are the same. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

whats happening is that the left side shines high on the back of the car in front of me. I believe my alignment of lights is correct.

you can also loosen the screws on the housings and rotate the whole housing abit...

 

yes.. the horizontals are set straight forward..

 

keeps the beam pointed away from oncoming traffic.

 

front of me... are you using e codes? do you see your lights reflect off the back of other cars and are they the same brightness?
