Question re: Borla cat-back
I'm shopping around for a cat-back and I am seriously considering the Borla, especially after what you had to say about the Audi exhaust. I was hoping you could give me some feedback. Likes? Dislikes? Is it loud during "normal" driving? Any regrets? Thanks.

Good exhaust... but a bit loud in an Avant.
I have one on my Avant. It may sound a tiny bit ricey, but it's not bad. My only problem is that in the Avant, it resonates straight up into the cabin, so it sometimes can get on my nerves a bit.
I hear that it's not a problem with sedans, though.

Mine hums when cruising..

Definately agree on the note variations with temperature change..
With the tips, during WOT the car would emit a deep gargling sound.
Currently without the tips it now gargles with the throttle 1/2 way open.
When I downshift from 4th to 3rd while rev-matching, I get a little bit of popping from time to time.. more now with the tips cut out.
Under WOT it just sounds great man. IMO the 2nd best thing about our exausts is that during city driving they're quiet.
