Default Question: Weight of shift *****...
OK, I'm thinking of designing an ergonomic shift ****. After BoostD's discussion of the SLA cell phone holder, I was considering doing the same thing with plastic resins. Then the idea occured to me that it would be possible to cast an ergonomic shift **** based on the shape of my hand...Now, part of the **** would be aluminum, but I know that especially with a short shifter weight of the **** is important. So the question is, can anyone tell me how much the stock A4 shift **** weight (So I don't have to go take mine off right now) as well as the weights of some of the more popular aftermarket ***** such as the Rob **** II, or some of the MOMO *****. Anyone that can help or has ideas, please, feel free. Thanks.

Default i am guessing stock is 150-200gram... however..
i am using a Razo heavy ****, which is 450g. with neuspeed, feels great

i think since the pivot point is shorten, it would be more beneficial to have a heavy ****.

Default I agree with the weight issue, which is why i'm trying to figure out how heavy to make it.
Or at least the minimum weight necessary (stock). I'm not familiar with the Razo heavy ****, got any pics?

about 3.5 inches in height, heavy, feels right with neuspeed, a bit tall for UUC SS

Default I'm going with the UUC in the group buy at ClubB5.com
I like the height of the stock shifter, or just slightly lower, but not as significant as that of the Neuspeed. Which is why I went with the UUC over the Neuspeed.

Default the neuspeed is great with my sparcos.. for your ****..
i guess use your own hand as a reference, the width of your palm is about 3-4 inches

use playdoh to get the shape too
