im buying a replacement passenger side ecode from lltek and need to know the difference between these two headlights

Part numbers:
DPA48D-20R (B5) PASS

VALB5-04R (HAL) PASS

look to see what brand the one needed to be replaced is (or the one good one you already have) I dunno the diffs betwix them...

 

Yeah, I think Urban Rally is right.

I can't find a pic of the Depos, but they are basically knock-off repros, and a search of the forums will yield plenty of reviews about them, ranging from lukewarm to horrible. Valeos are the way to go.

By the way, Nate at NGP Racing (nate@ngpracing.com) was able to give me a better price than that on the Valeos when I bought them 2-3 months ago. Get in touch with him if you're buying and see what he can do for you...

Although they're made as a replacement for the Valeos, the Depos are definitely not "exactly the same."

Some people like them, of course... but there sure are an awful lot of people who <I>don't</I>. If it were me, I'd just spend the extra $55 for the OEM Valeo headlights. Not trying to burst your bubble, just trying to save you the hassle of not getting what you want the first time around! Good luck.
