Default Quick gti question.

Does anyone know if an ecu from a 2001 gti would work on a 2005 gti. If not can someone let me know what the part number is on the 2005 ecu. Like if its a p box or whatever.

I dont know where to ask this and i dont have a handle on vw vortex

Default i would think not.

2001 GTIs had 12V VR6 and 150 HP 1.8t. 2002-2005 had 24V VR6 and 180hp 1.8t. as such, i would imagine the ECUs are different.
