Default quick question...

i just bought a set of s4 headlight from a buddy of mine that just got a set of ecodes and i have a 98 a4...what do i need to have/do to make them work properly. or will they even work? TIA

Default Oh they work... I have S4 headlights in my 97 A4

you have to trim the fender, and you can use your old harness... you just have to cut a circular hole for the plug and seal up the old hole. You also have to seal the hole for the ballast underneath and rig up some kind of way to attach the inner housing in place of the leveling motor. matched the old round harness wires to the appropriate pins on the projector housing.

Soldered clips to the ends of the wires.
Pushed them on.
Filled around with Silicon to seal.
And the black stuff you see is heat shrink wrap before I shrunk it. That stuff wraps tightly around the wires to protect them.

With this method no cutting/splicing or any modification of any kind needs to occur on the cars factory wiring harness

I'd rather use a little ingenuity then paying $40 for a piece of plastic.
