Default Quick Question

i'm looking to buy a audi dont really know if i want a 1.8T or a 2.8 but its going to be 1995+ i dont think i have enough for anything higher than 1999 but.. i'm wondering if i get a 1.8T sounds more fun cuz of the turbo.. yet i hear the v6 2.8 is alot faster? i might want a stick.. but would the T have more mods? i'm not looking for really big mods like turbo kits but if there are little mods 1k or less which car has the most? and which will end up being the faster with the mods.. i dont really want a FAST CAR i want an audi but i do enjoy speed and i'm just wondering which will have more mods than the other and which will end up being the faster one.

You'll get a newer car by going a 1.8t and a chip will give you equal or better performance.

Default It varies a bit from supplier to supplier but typically stage 1 is

chip only, stage 2 adds cat back exhaust and stage 3 is a larger turbo (and programming to go with it).
Stage III is what APR calls their Stage 3 set up ... ~280 hp ~300 torque on pump a bit more on the 100 program/fuel and a bit more than that on the 104 programs/fuel

Default Its a toss up...2.8 more fun stock, nicer inside

BTW 1.8T needs better intercooler with chip.
