Quick question
I picked it (01-A4) up last week. Very good buying experience. However, I was under the impression that there was a 1K service call....I guess that has been changed to 5k? Is this true? If so, would anyone go ahead and change it at 1k anyway? Thanks

NO. FOLLOW THE MANUAL. The engine supposdly
has a special oil in it to facilitate the break-in period.
Nothing personal; this is a rhetorical question, but WHY do people second guess Audi engineers and the procedures they spell out in the manual for maintenance???
