Reliability
I am new to this board having just recieved my 2001 manual 1.8t two days ago. I have driven reliable yet-fast japanese cars all my life and am a bit worried that I made the right decision with this vehicle. Are they relaible? Is re-sale good? Any issues I should know about? Any response would be great, thanks.

You already bought it, enjoy it!
What's the point of asking these questions after your bought it? You want some piece of mind? Stop worrying and enjoy the car. Take good care of it and it will take good care of you. When it breaks down, worry about it then. Don't mistreat the Turbo. Take good care of the paint. Don't park it next to jalopies.

Is a mixed bag, some have horrible exp. w/ A4s some no problems.
I think there is a list of $$ problems for A4s I didn't save it in my files. I'm sure someone will repost again.
Overall, I love this car for the price is worth it. I came from a Toyota, Acura/Honda family, so far this is just as reliable as my Acura.<p>99.5 Avant2.8S TIP
