Resonator problem solved!!!!!!

i posted last week about having a resonator taken out and it being too loud. well i loved the power so vary much but disliked the sound. i have been searching for a universal fit free flowing resonator that will keep the sound down and still retain the top performance. Well my answer was Sebring! i purchased a round 14"X5" dia muffler and had it custom welded. the soud is a very very deep and controlled sound no more honda like screeches!..well i am very very proud of what i have done and love it! i have a good tone and much improved power.I paid 123 for the muffler and 40 to install it.If you plan on purchasing a Remus, Oettinger or any thing that is just a muffler and want to gain more power with out the noise get a Sebring Muffler. it is well worth the money!JC M. 1.8TQMS (Abt StageII, Oettinger rear muffler, Sebring sport resonator, now a happy camper=))

I have the Remus rear muffler. You describe the Sebring as a muffler and at the bottom, as a sport resonator. I still have to replace my stock center muffler and am looking for the right resonator. I hope that you are talking about the center resonator so that I can look into it.Thanks.

So what did you get a muffler or a resonator? (more)

Please be a little more accurate and specific so others could follow. It does not hurt to provide the part numbers and sources of your parts.Thanks

I used a Sebring Tuning Sport Muffler which can be used as a Resonator. A resonator is nothing more than a pre muffler. What i did is place 2 sport mufflers to baffel the sound. the power stays the same casue the Sebring is a streight pipe with baffles on the sides.I purchased it from a Local Honda Tuner store any Jap Aftermarket stores sells Sebring Tuning.as for a Part # i was not provided with one i just measured the dimensions i needed and they provided the proper size.JC M.

The Sebring is a Sport muffler which i am using in place of the Resonator.

It is a muffler that i had placed in. i removed the center muffler (resonator) and replaced it with this one.It is worth it!let me know if you need help getting parts cause i can always get them.
