Default I think that the biggest thing that would help with the transition..

would be to remove the feature that every post is "tracked" for updates...

I.E. remove the ability to "bump" the thread to the top of the list for every user. Allow someone to track the thread the same way Kawf allows. That way, joe blow user will still see each new thread, and then can click to see the subsequent posts under that thread, but doesnt have to be overwealmed by old posts kicking to the top of the stack and having to click on them every day to make them go away...

Default KAWF is just getting old.. times change and really AW has been overdue for a revamp..

I'm ok with it. personally I don't use any other forum so I need to study up.. but those that go back and forth from fortitude/tex/whatever else will be much more at home.
