running lean?!?!?

Default running lean?!?!?
i've recently done sum mods to my 01 1.8T Q T, put on a k&n air filter and a borla cat-back exhaust, and now my check engine light is on sayin its running lean, any help out there????

Default Check the airbox to turbo hose... you probably didnt get it on all the way when you installed the ..

why would i have toasted the MAF?!?!?! that juss seems impossible juss with a new air filter, i mean its spoolin up hella quicker, but dont understand.....

Default There is a myth going around about K&N filter oil damaging MAFs
IMO, it only happens if people over-oil the filter during cleaning.
