Rust Proofing??

Rust Proofing??
I know that my '96 A4 came with some triple step rust proofing process but what shall I do now to keep up the protection against rust. Should I go to a place like "Rust Check" who drills holes in the underbody of the car and injects some sort of oil in to it? What is the best way to protect my car from rust.....I live in Canada so we get lots of freeze-thaw conditions and salt on the roads.

That's technology from the '70s. Don't waste your time or money....
You will be doing more damage than good. Unless you are keeping that car for life (yours not the car's) you will never see any corrosion perforation. Most modern cars are mechanically shot long before the body cancer sets in.

The best rustproofing is NOT drilling any holes in your car!!
The bodies are made of 2 sided galvanized steel (if I'm not mistaken) and they CANT rust. On our '96, there is only the slightest surface rust on the steel subframe under the front. I cleaned it off well and used the cheap pickup bed liner spray paint to protect it. This is after at least 4 winters in salt happy Vermont. Even the biggest paint chips are showing no signs of rust.

There's a product called Boeshield
It's a spray-on waxy substance that Boeing invented to rust proof airplanes.
You spray it inside the wheel wells, etc of your car and it leaves a nice waxy film. Apply a couple of times a year.
I know about it from owning old 4x4s. Not sure how much good it will do on a newer car.
