RWD conversion??
i've seen AWD cars converted into RWD (EVO~STI), i was just wondering if anyone had thaught about this before. has anyone seen or heard about this being done to a Quattro vehicle?
if i'm not mistaken Quattro uses limited slip diferentials to cut power from spinning wheels(axels), and redistribute it to wheels(axels) with grip, so could it be as simple as pulling out the front axels (of course you would want to seal the trany output and hubs somehow.) or would you have to take out the center diff, and replace it with something that only sends the torque rearwords.
i tried searching but all i could find was that a bunch of people had debated weather they would rather have there car in RWD if it was an option.
dont worry anyone i'm not about to just pull out my axels, this is all hypothetical.
