seeing double...

so i read two articles in Eurotuner (yeah, yeah) the last two months. both cars are from california, both are blue (very similar shades in the pictures), both have the exact same body kit and wide body treatment from the same shop, and both have the exact same brake set up, and very similar (large w/ dish) wheels.
why the hell would a magazine feature almost the exact same 'looking' car, let alone two months in a row?!
anyone else notice this?

Any mag that allows a riced out car with only a chip for GO mods to be ont he cover...

Did you get a new company car yet?

nope and no where.

i'm pretty sure i told you no R32 because there aren't anymore available to us. with moving into my new place, i think i'm going to see what my bills are like before ordering another car. i'm kind of debating about a GLI this time.
the mk2's just looking for a place to sit! i'm trying to arrange something with my parent's to keep it and work on it there. the garage is larger and actually lit (unlike my current one), plus my dad has airtools which would make working on the car so much easier.
but in all honesty, i've been busy with getting ready to move (cleaning old place, painting new place this week, packing/moving next week), and now i'll be going back to school next month, so i'll probably have less time than before. plus side is work slows down in the fall/winter so i won't be working as much.
i'm not saying i bit off more than i could chew, but i definitely wish i had time to work on it. there were a couple chicago audi guys over the weekend giving me $hit about it too.

Back to school for what?

Yeah I heard about the R32, but I figured you would go for the Avant or something else. The GLI is cool, I'd consider it if it wasn't 23k and FWD.

About the MKII...if you don't get it finished by Waterfest 2005 you are banned from these forums!!!

for a degree!

i only have about a year and a half under my belt, so i need to finish.
well you know that i don't pay that price, so it's real cheap for me.
i guarantee it'll be up and running by waterfest 05. repainted/reupholstered/complete stereo, we'll see. i'll at least be rocking primer (which i love the look of), a 'complete' interior, and some sort of stereo set up.
i'm actually picking up rich from Dubwerks tonight. he's going to check out everything for the car. i might just drop it off at their shop and have the engine done.
