service indicator
have a 2000tip whose service indicator was reading "service in 8400 miles", when i only had 400 miles on the car. dealer put in a new instrument cluster but the problem still persisted. at about 1000k the indicator reset itself correctly and was reading "service in 4000 miles". then when i reached 1200 miles the indicator says "service in 4300 miles". dealer says nothing he can do at this time. hmmmmmmmnnnnn. i guess i'll have to wait until my first service is due in august.called aoa, but no help here. love the car but this is not very confidence inspiring.
