I have a 97a41.8T with 111k - H&RSport and Koni Sport combo - I now want a smoother ride as the car enters it later years. I want to switch out the Koni's for Bilstein HDs for a smoother ride as a daily driver - any problems with this? I don't need the firm ride of a Bilstein Sport, but do like the lower look if the H&R 1.25" drop, so the HD semed like the right move though a few shops are against this saying the shock is the wrong fit.

Bilstein Sports are for the lowered spring. HD's are for the stock height springs.
Sports and HD's have the same valving and ride, and both are going to be less comfortable on the street than comparably new KONI shocks.
