just got a thule from dmak.. love it, love it, love it!
just came back from a 3 hour drive to the mountains to go snowboarding. no extra cabin noises or anything. the snowboard attatchment is pretty solid too..
imho, if you go with thule, yakima or saris you should be fine. you get what you pay for when it comes to racks.<img src="http://users.cnmnetwork.com/~redline/images/thule%20rack.JPG">

i have a thule, but i recommend a yakima...
my thule is cool and i have like every single attachment made, but the round yakima bars are better...mainly cuz when you aren't using the ski/snowboard attachments you can rotate them down for less drag...and i think they are slightly cheaper than the thule...
if you really ride a lot, then get a box, my friend has a huge box on his gti, and it can carry four boards, all of our boots and just a whole lotta other ****, so no wet boots in the car...easily worth the 300 bucks since two snowboard carriers will run you like 200 already

Do you know what the part number
or model number is. Some is offering
me their THULE for too good of a price to refuse
but it current resides on his 2000 Honda Accord
didn't know if they are all the same or if there
are differences. TIA

also www.rackwarehouse.com, www.sportsrack.com
rackwarehouse has discounts on some of the items (eg, 10% off on yakima q-tower and 30% on some powderhounds) and sportsrack will give you 20% off in-store, till Jan. (Their website says 10%, but it is actually 20%). Ageebikes give 20% freebee, but they can be applied to small items only, according to their website.

dmak's rack was orginally off his old civic...
it sorta fit, but there was wayy too much windnoise. the rears fit fine, but the front wasnt angled enough to fit flush with the door jam. i bought a fit kit for the audi for $40.. all is well now.
