small issue causes big problems....
i get on the interstate and drive about 20 miles to my girlfriend's exit. the car is running great. im loving the T-28 and just zipping in and out of traffic.
once we get on the interstate after picking her up, it starts up again. it gets worse and worse.
i pull over thinking maybe a vacuum line is disconnected etc. nothing. i decide to turn back around to get her car. the damn audi barely makes it home. i could be in fourth/fifth gear and all of a sudden the rpms start dropping as well as my speed. then all of a sudden, everything kicks in and it will run strong.
most of the time, its starts bucking like a wild horse. i was laughing and sick in my stomach at the same time.
after fumbling with it for a while, checking the o2 sensors, maf sensor,...a wire was found broken that led to the MAF. AHHHHHH.....
soldered back together and all is good. much better than replacing a whole MAF.
so thats fixed. PES is sending a new exhaust manifold. once thats in, im putting her up for sale.
she will be missed.
There are pics from my quick fix before I replaced the connector...

Also, I have a PES Bpv as well, do you find that it makes a louder sound than Forge or other BPv's..?
As for the BPV, The only thing that makes them louder is a bigger turbo IMO.
