yup, i finally did it, ive had my car over 2 years, and i finally rear-ended someone. it was my fault, im stupid, and now im dealing with it. If i opt not to have insurance pay for the damages on my car, i was wondering how much this would dent the bank account. I need a hood, grill (so much for the RS4), front bumber, and probably one headlight assembly. If anyone has any idea what these oem parts run, please let me know, maybe i can make myself happy with a different bumper.

Wow...de ja vu! Same thing happened to me...
rear-ended a Ford Explorer. I took it the local Audi dealer's body shop. Had it out in two weeks and $5000 later.

I went with the S4 bumper. I was actually cheaper that getting a new A4 bumper and lower spoiler.
The parts manager said that they had a price increase in January:
S4 bumper = $404.60
3 grilles = $69.70

Total = $474.30
A4 bumper = $450.00
A4 spoiler= $168.00
-----------------
Total = $618.00 (didn't price the lower grilles since I already had them)
So, it now cost less to go with the S4 bumper. At least at my dealer.

Well..
I would go with the S4 bumper, why not?..
Bumper including grilles - About $400
A4 bumper including lower spoiler, fogs(?) and grilles - About $500+
Hood - About $500
Headlights, your better off getting a new pair of projector headlights from AWE or SPP consiering you can get Euro spec headlights a hell of alot cheaper than OEM units which are like 280 a piece, if not more.
