Snapper Time!

Had our work Christmas fishing trip today and thought you all might like a pic.

Weather on the bay was gorgeous this morning - perfect fishing weather :-)

I managed to catch a snapper for my 2nd year in a row. This year the one I caught was much bigger than last year and tipped the scales at 5.5kg and just over 65cm in length! Took around 10mins to land on a 8lbs. light tackle line. (it tasted delicous! - had it for dinner tonight!)

Im on a hat trick for next years fishing trip!

Heh, I can't look at a pic of a red snapper without thinking of the Led Zep Red Snapper story.

Nice! Red Snapper is one of the best tasting fish on this Earth...

I prefer it broiled with a little cajun seasoning & lemon... yum!
