Solution To Bose Problem
Although it is not perfect, I have a solution to those of you who want to put an aftermarket head unit in their car, but have a Bose Package.
I own a 1999 A4 1.8T with the sport package and the Bose system. My friend sold me (for short money) a 7.5 inch Clarion in dash Screen, Clarion DVD Player, TV tuners, and a CD Changer. All of which I wanted to use, but without putting up hundreds of dollars and many hours replacing the speakers and amplifier.
SO HERE'S What I DID!

You need a FGA4 from Amp of America. The FGA4 is a common ground adapter which takes in the 8 positive and negative channels from the speaker outputs on your aftermarket head unit, and converts them to four speaker outputs, and one common ground. Once you get the adapter the rest is self explanatory.
The only other thing that you have to do is find the remote turn on for the amp. On the yellow adapter, there will be a 6th wire. This wire is used to turn the amp on and off from the head unit. Connect the remote turn on from your head unit to this wire, and you'll be on the road.
Here's the problems that I found with this.
1) Some Engine noise is detected
2) Some Noise occurs when changing tracks of a CD
3) Some quality of sound is lost (but marginally)
4) When turning the car on and off, the front left speaker releases a slight "pop". This is a result of the amp powering off before the head unit powers off.
5) Some of the "boom" from the subwoofers is gone (I actually like it better this way).
