Some S4 guys are having SPEC clutch issues........anyone around here too?
"Oh, before you leave can you just..."
"Thanks, now can you..."
"OK - now can you just take the roof off and build a second story and then put the roof back on? Oh and keep it quiet, my daughter is sleeping"
Sorry man, I was hoping to make it out to catch up w/ you, I did not get outta there until almost 11pm. I am glad I am not a handy man, well actually - they get PAID by the hour!
It's the same basic concept with the clutch (interaction between the clutch plate and flywheel). Only you can't really heat the clutch up like you can brake pads. Maybe what you're describing is the final stages of break in? If that were true, and you continued using the *same* clutch material after the next swap, I would suspect there would be no break in period, and the clutch would work perfectly.
just thinking out loud...

I reved it up and as I dropped the clutch I thought, **** I reved it too high - its gonna slip again. Low and behold all I heard was screetching tires - several in fact.
Muhaha - Time to plan an etown gtg!
