Split Second 1.8T boost controller-

anybody know anything about this?? i read up on an article about this and seems like a really good alternative to chipping but ive never seen anything posted on aw about it (didnt check archives). anybody use the boost control system instead of chipping? if so, how good is it...is it a reasonable alternative for chips?
