SPUTTERING,

I GOT A 99.5 A4 1.8T AVANT HAD IT CHIPPED AND NOW I'M SPUTTERING...ONLY ON INTIAL TAKE OFF......H E L P !!! ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

So it ran fine before, and not fine post chipping? I'd blame the chip, or the solder joint or the...

YEAH JUST SLOW AS DIRT. PLUGGED IT IN AND BEFORE FIRING UP SHOWED MULTIPLE MISFIRES

Take back or send ECU to tuner to redo!

If you took car to tuner, maybe shame on them.

I have told friends who sell chips that the only way I would do it is to go over every car beforehand and list and fix every problem. I have seen so many people chasing their tails after doing work when the problems were there before. Everyone blaames the last work done.
