squeel while turning

in the last 3k i have gotten/noticed an interesting noise. When i turn i get a squeeling noise (brake or nails on chalkboard sound). Sounds like the brake is engaging. If i do a tight turn/donut i can hear it for long durations. If I make a gradual turn it will happen for a few seconds.

Any ideas??

Me too; My car is currently at the dealer being worked on, one of the probs being what you described

I should get it back today or tomorrow. i'll post my findings when I know.

while going forward, or reverse?

I get a squeel when backing up and turning slowly; like in a parking lot. Sounds like my brake is dragging slightly on the rotor. No big deal really.

Brakes do drag *slightly* on the rotor....that is "normal" on the A4.
