Starting problem..
I have a starting problem with my Audi A4 2.8 (1998). If I start the car in the morning, it starts fine. But if I drive around and then turn off the car, then try to start the car again after 10-20 minutes, it will not start. It will crank and continue to crank without starting. I have found that if I start hitting the gas while cranking, it helps the car start sometimes. If I let it sit for about an hour, then the car will once again start just fine. Does anyone have a clue as to what this could be and how to fix it?? I have heard someone say that it might be vapor lock. I have also heard that the temperature sensor might be broken. Does the A4 engine start differently for different temperatures?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..
Sam
