Steering Wheel Alignment/Trim
A4 Advice Team,<p>I have a 99.5 2.8QMS with ~1800 miles on it. I have come to notice in the past couple weeks that my steering wheel has to be turned about 3 to 5 degrees to the left in order to track straight on the highway. It is definitely not a issue of grading on the road. It is for sure a alignment thing, and may even be normal production-line variation, but it is kinda driving me nuts especially since the contours on the sport wheel is so conducive to hand placement, symmetry, and such. But the wheels themselves seem to be aligned just fine since the ride is very smooth and vibration feedback non-existent, as to be expected in a new car. <p>My questions: Will a dealer laugh at me for asking them to re-align the steering wheel? Should I trust anyone else but the dealer to do it? Does anyone else experience this annoyance?
