Stop Light Torque....
I would NOT do this with a quattro. With the FWD
the front tires can break loose which takes some stress off the torque convertor. With AWD, the tq takes all the punishment. Also, mine was stock so I did'nt have the extra torque of a chip to stress the driveline. Back in the day "1991" I had an Eclipse GSX all HKS'ed out (before the modern day rice brigade) It was pushing 250 hp and was an automatic. After 2 years the tranny failed but not because of the torque convertor. The main shaft of the transfer case split in two. The resulting stress fried the auto trans clutches. I am sure the Audi unit is better than the Mitsu, but before you play check out the cost of replacement parts and labor. The Mitsu tranny was $10,000. No joke. I had to pony up 5k of that because of the mods. Mitsu paid the rest.
