Strange idle problem
On dipping the clutch on the approach to a road junction my idle is very erratic, from 300 to 900 rpm approx but after a few seconds of being still the idle settles down fine. If I then release the handbrake and let my car freewheel down a hill the idle becomes unstable again so just the cars movement is altering the revs despite me not even touching the throttle/gears/brakes. I'm running a 1996 1.8 manual.
Anyone help me?
