Default when i read your thread title i was going to reply: something scooby like. sti or so

i kinda seem to fall in love with those, whenever i get another car to replace this audi thing i will go with an older wrx i think. that all depends of course if i find one that had been owned by some grandpa or so.

Default looks good on paper.. definitely give a good once onver especially

brakes and suspension. Also hows the turbo, spare oil feedline always raises flag. Track time can always do a number on all of th eabove as you probably know from your A4.

Default the car's well maintained. Owned by Mike Potter (parts4vw). I'd have to ask but I'm guessing the

line was a spare to bring to the track, and 1 lap.

Default I know of a locally owned '06 STI that is acually being used by a little old lady. I have first

rights on it when she wants to sell/trade it. She's a good friends mother.

She loves it, says it makes her feel young but can still get around in the winter w/snows on it. It just makes you feel good to see her in it. Black, gold wheels (silver alloy winters) and she had the boy racer wing removed as she felt it blocked her vision = perfect Subbie now!

With that said i am very much looking forward to the day she trades... should be around this time 2 years from now. Maybe 18-20K miles on it. ;-) :-P

Default The daily grind is made more annoying with both the EVO and the STi.

They are capable of fantastic power, and are great track cars, however not only do they fall far short of being good daily drivers, they attract an annoying kind of attention that gets old, real quick, are cop magnets, and are both built like toys. After my EVO being totalled, and having a friend almost loose his life in an STi, I could never recommend them on a safety standpoint alone.
