Surging

I am debating on wether it's the DV or something else. When I am in second gear and gradually accelerating the car tends to surge or buck (yee HA) sorry... back and forth, when getting into the boost. Now it doesn't do it all the time but I am thinking its the either the APR software or the diverter valve.
Any help would be appreciated.

vag-com and see if you are getting a misfire.

may be a bad coilpack.

Or plug gap too wide . .especially if the surge (misfires?) are at boost onset.

I think misfires cause a CE light..

Only if the count exceeds a specific value over a specific time measure. If you get misfires and

lift you won't necessarily throw a light. BTDT with a bad spark plug that only misfired at WOT at max load. A Vag log showed me what was going on that cylinder.
