is this surging ??
99.5 a4 with k04 and giac,007 dv
boost drags till about 3500 and then the boos gauge jumps to 18psi and then drops to like 7psi. also the car feels like its getting all the boost at the top of each gear. any ideas.
im thing n75 but i might be wrong.

I have the exact same setup. I don't think that's surging but I experience the same
thing you do. It seems that the boost doesn't come on until at least 3k or higher. Although it spikes pretty high, as the car goes through the RPMS, it seems to hold at 18psi for like half of a second to a second and then slowly drops in pressure. I've always wondered if this was by design or if something was wrong with my car. Can anyone with a K04 chime in with their experience?
