Surging Issues Continue, Advice?

Okay, I've been working nonstop on this 00 A4 (ATW Engine, 75k Miles, 1.8T Quattro) - I have a pulsing and surging problem and the throttle appears to not give much response, either no power or full power.

Once it reaches about 3k rpm, the car starts bucking and spitting horribly, and cyl 1 and 2 misfire.

I have replaced:
Plugs,
Coils,
Timing Belt/Tensioner (and serpentines),
EVERY Vacuum Line,
New 710N DV

I ran another check on the codes, and got a MAF error, readings too low - Could that be the cause of these problems? Would that cause misfires?

As soon as it misfires it jerks into limp home mode and all power is lost.

Any advice on what to replace next?

Hopefully I got this in the B5 forum this time, rofl.. accidentaly posted in the B7 forum ;D

how are the gaps on the plugs?

i ahd a WOT surge, almost poping, turned out my plug gap was a bit too wide, regapped, smooth as babys bottom again.
gunna replace the plugs just incase one is gettin weak.

Regapped them once already, smoothed slightly (they were at .96mm - YIKES!) but did not fix the problem.

I guess I'll pick one of those up tomorrow then. Anyone got a part # for that? My local Audi stealership is.. ahem.. a little slow. Took 3 trips, a part #, and the master tech to find the 710N DV.
